Will of God

It is so great if we depend on the Holy Ghost on His guidance. We need to put on in mind that God doesn't make mistakes. He is like a Father. He wants what is best for His children. He is very much willing to be involved in your life and He is willing to guide you.

As the verse in Proverbs 3:5-6 says:

"Trust in the LORD completely, and don't depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what He wants, and He will help you go the right way."

Wrong choices and decisions are the effects of doing things our way and not of God. It happens because we don't believe the Bible has the answer to our needs. We need to believe that the Bible has the answer for each of our needs either it be studies, family, financial and so on. God wants what is best for us. As Jeremiah 29:11 says:

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

The Lord has given us free will or in other words, the ability to choose. We need to submit to His will. To know His will, let us take this steps:

Give up what you desire in order to have what God wants you to give you.

It is necessary for us to let go of our feelings. The Bible says feelings are fleeting, who can understand it? (Jeremiah. 7:9) We need to submit to His will.

  Seek for God's wisdom.

  Psalms 119:105 says

"Your word is a lamp to my feet; and a light to my path."

We should come to seek the Word and what it says about our requests. If we ask in accordance with His will, it will be conformed with His Word.

 Ask for Godly advice.

Prov. 20:18 Get good advice and you will succeed
Prov. 15:22 Plans go wrong without advice

Check if there is peace in your heart.

You will know if it is God's will if there is peace in your heart. Hard circumstances will change if the decision is in accordance with His will. He removes doubts and brings assurance. We must remember that He gives peace that surpasses understanding.

  Philippians 4:7
God's peace will stand guard over your minds and hearts in Christ Jesus.

See if circumstances go in favor

Circumstances will go in our favor because it is God's will that you proceed with that decision. When we move in His way, circumstances will turn in our favor. When we do not, we will face adversities and difficulties.

Let JESUS take the stirring wheel over your life.
